Overview

SW 1 in an industrial estate developed for speculative warehouses in Berrinba. Conveniently located close to the Logan Motor Way it is a hub for transport and logistics companies with the requirement for supersize warehouses. As in previous years Digwright worked on a number of projects with Frasier Properties (formely Australand Holdings Limited). SW1 was handed back to the client ready for the builder ahead of time. Keeping the building on program and on track for completion.

Scope

Digwright Civil was appointed as the civil contractor for the SW 1 and associated works at Berrinba. At the completion of the project Digwright had delivered:

  • 40000m3 of cut exported off site
  • Disposal and management of contaminated soils (asbestos)
  • Level 1 Geotech
  • Removal of existing sewer and storm water
  • Install drainage structures
  • Retaining Walls
  • Bio Basins
  • Working in an environmentally sensitive area
